Daisy's Lodge in Cloudcroft, New Mexico combines the tranquility of a cool mountain setting with all the conveniences of home. This three bedroom, two bath is nestled in an aspen grove and surrounded by huge pine trees. It is 5 minutes from The Cloudcroft Lodge golf course, 10 minutes from Ponderosa Pines golf course and Chippeway riding stables, 10 minutes from Ski Cloudcroft, 5 minutes from village shopping and dining, and 1 hour from horse racing and Casino Apache.
After a full day of fishing, hunting, hiking, shopping, or golf, Daisy's Lodge welcomes you home to sheltered parking. Decks surround the house, both open and closed! Inside you will find a fireplace (wood furnished) and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave to make the cooking chores a little easier. For a little "civilized" enjoyment there is stereo satellite television, DVD/VCR (with movie library), and plenty of reading material.
The master bedroom has a king bed and the master bath a sunken tub, shower, and twin basins. There is a king bed in the second bedroom and a queen in the third. Extra bedding is plentiful.
Daisy's is equipped with a full size washer and dryer and an iron. Linens and towels are furnished.
On the back deck you will find a gas grill, ping pong table, and a one-hole putting green. There's even a tree house and teeter totter in the back for the kids.
Hiking trails are laced throughout the forest around Daisy's. A short 5 minute walk and you are surrounded by forest wilderness. In the summer there are humming birds by the hundreds.
While there are lots of activities in and around Cloudcroft, New Mexico the area is perfect for those who just want to get away from it all in the heart of God's Country, the Southern Rockies.
